SNOWING!!

Well it is FINALLY winter in ND. We got our 1st measurable snowfall last night/this morning and received 2+ inches. I am really hoping the big storm that is in the central part of the US does not come this far north. We have plans to travel for the holiday weekend and I'm really excited to go. If we stay home, I know I will be sleeping by 9pm on New Year's and that is just NO FUN! Oh well, welcome to parenthood, huh? Can't take off if the weather is questionable with the 2 little munchkins.

I'm really glad that it is already almost Jan before we are getting any real "WINTER" but then again it held off this long, why now??? It's just not fair! I wish Mother Nature would have cooperated! I guess you can't control things though.

Yesterday I took the day off to sleep! With this darn cold and the kids being sick, it's really taken a toll on me. I feel so much better today. I planned to rest for the mornind and then take the xmas tree down and clean up the house in the afternoon, but I didn't get outta bed until 3 and then showered and had to go pick the kids up from daycare. Guess now I'll have to trudge thru the snow out to the shed to get all the containers to put the stuff away. UGH! Whose bright idea was it to put it all away after I put the xmas stuff up??? Oh wait, it was mine cause then it was sooo cluttered in the house for that month. Guess if this weather keeps up, I'll have plenty of time to do things this weekend.

Enough of me complaining. I'm still waiting for someone to contact me who's looking for a blogger friend! Anyone out there????

I'm out here! I love finding new foster parent blogs.
We've been foster parents for 2 years and have had 6 babies.
I'm always impressed by people who take older kids, cuz I'm not ready for that quite yet.

Welcome to the neighborhood. :)

Hey, I just connected to your blog through a link from baggage on baggageandbug.com. I'm a newer foster parent than you...we haven't had any placed with us yet, but I'm going to add your blog to my list of blogs to read and glean helpful info off of. *smiles*
